Welcome to the Astrological New Year! Thursday at 5:01 AM marks the Vernal Equinox. Change is here and I intend to embrace it in a safe and hopefully more effective manner.

Today we are going to discuss the daily astrological aspects that are in play for Wednesday March 19th 2025 through Friday March 21st. This is a radical departure for this particular podcast/website. The reasons for this will become clearer as we discuss astrological events for the next three days.

The marquee event is the first day of spring. Change is in the air. I have been urging caution until the time is right for Mars since last fall. You can see that I am tweaking my format here slightly to better cut through the cacophony of similar content. I am returning to writing the longer articles that will accompany these episodes. Consolidating the daily episodes into a few podcasts/videos will cut down on notifications from my channels in your social media feeds, and make the content more relatable for a longer period of days.

Too many times, I feel that daily and weekly content can miss having a continuous feel to it. The goal here is to entertain, inform and educate those who are interested in both astrology and astronomy.

Wednesday and the Moon in Scorpio is void of course and enters Sagittarius at 4:17 pm. Today is the super creative last day of the Sun in Pisces. Existing projects only. Don’t start anything new. Don’t interrupt your deep work. Keep on plugging along. Today’s keyword is duty

The color is sky blue.

The Sun is in the exit point of Pisces. The end and the beginning are now universally felt with one exception; very few will notice the shift in energies that is taking place. There is a weight to the actions being undertaken now. What should be apparent is still shrouded in propaganda. It won’t be pretty when that truth is revealed. We need to protect what is ours, now more than ever.

More talk of travel surfaces today. Even of a permanent nature if you can afford it. Art colonies, writer’s communes and lifestyle communities all begin to reappear. Is this Pluto in Aquarius taking us back or moving us forward?

Prepare for Spring and the Festival of Ostara.

Event: 1077 Norman monk Gundulf consecrated as Bishop of Rochester – goes on to build Rochester Castle and the White Tower, Tower of London, as engineer of William the Conqueror.

Birth: Bruce Willis (69 years old) 1955 American actor (Moonlighting, Die Hard), born in Idar-Oberstein, West Germany.

Wednesday is a 5.

Thursday and the Moon is in Sagittarius. Astronomical spring begins at 5:01 am on the East Coast. This is a positive day. We feel good and it is a great day for the serious minded to patch up a strained relationship and get the communication back on track. It is international Astrology Day so hug an astrologer. Today’s keyword is hug. Springtime is a good time for hugs.

The color is sunshine in the morning.

Time for another shift. This one feels like emerging from hibernation. Is this just another day? Is this just another job? Creativity as a career requires more focus and discipline than a normal day job. That is the message.

Looking for attention? The Moon in Sagittarius makes it easy to try something and then skip away as if nothing ever mattered in search of an even bigger thrill. The thrills that Jupiter is having in Gemini are illicit at best and are driving that conversation to leave things behind.

See the aforementioned conversation. Today’s hidden message is that Mars, Uranus, the Sun and Pluto are all in sextiles forming a cradle. Protect yourself and pace your offerings. Virgo season is where the adventure will take us. Libra season is where we will experience the acclaim and reward.

Event: 1991 Court awards singer-songwriter Peggy Lee $3 million in suit against Disney regarding home video royalties.

Birth: Frederick Winslow Taylor (1856-1915) American mechanical engineer and the father of scientific management, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

Friday and the Moon is in Sagittarius all day long. Planning trips and learning things are all good Sagittarius Moon things. A positive and optimistic outlook and the gift of second sight are also associated with the Sagittarius Moon. Is this available to all? Why, of course. What is changing? The season, attitudes, ambitions, hope, dreams and reality are all in the mix. Just remember that this is the first day of a new astrological year! It is all just beginning. Today’s keyword is the starting line.

Today is a 6.

The color is magenta.

Who pissed off the ladies? This is a very bad move. The males with the money think they can tell women what to do. Apparently when you couldn’t own property or vote was their golden age. As a society, we are better than that. Even female conservatives have had enough and are being vilified by the majority (by way of fraud). Venus is in her second sextile with Pluto. Pluto wants change, and whispers of it are being circulated.

This Moon in Sagittarius is divinatory in nature. She can sense the frustration but she is underestimating the reaction. We all are as it is under the radar. It is coming soon to city streets near you.

Venus is retrograde. It won’t be until mid-April when we feel this begin to emerge. Earth Day seems like a good starting point.

Event: 1952 20,000 attempt to attend the 1st rock & roll concert ever when Alan Freed presents The Moondog Coronation Ball at old 12,000 seat Cleveland Arena; performers include: Paul Williams and the Hucklebuckers; Tiny Grimes and the Rocking Highlanders; The Dominoes; and Varetta Dillard.

Birth: Modest Mussorgsky (1839-1881) Russian composer (Boris Godunov; Night on Bald Mountain; Pictures at an Exhibition), born in Karevo, Russia.

Thursday is a 6.

The flow and symbolism of these days will be unmistakable as we begin to slowly reenergize, review, renew our belief in ourselves, our abilities and in our causes. Do this deliberately and let data and numbers inform your choices. We will see indications of the success or failure of these efforts and be able to adjust accordingly.

We will enter the weekend chewing on all of this new information. This may very well be exactly what was missing. Like blossoms, this next petal of Venus will open us up to new creative, romantic and monetary possibilities.
